Laos and Thailand share a river, a love of chilli, and even a word for "delicious": saep in Lao, zaap in Thai. So when Zaap Thai, the restaurant founded by Ban, who has been creating traditional Thai flavours since 2002, asked if we'd like to put our sauces side by side with theirs, the answer was easy.

This is the result. Four sauces, two kitchens, and a whole lot of flavour.

From YoYo, you get the two sauces that built our name. Our Original Ginger Chilli Sauce, the Overall Winner at the UK National Chilli Awards and a 2-Star Great Taste winner brings fresh ginger warmth and bird's eye chilli heat to anything it touches. Our Pineapple, Chilli & Roasted Pepper Hot Sauce, named Best Savoury Condiment at the 2025 Taste Awards, balances sweet pineapple with fiery scotch bonnet and smoky roasted peppers.

From Zaap, you get Ban's two signature sauces. The Spicy Sriracha Sauce is the perfect balance of heat and tang, made for Thai food lovers. The Pad Thai Sauce brings tangy tamarind with sweet and savoury undertones, the shortcut to a proper pad Thai at home.

HOW TO USE THEM

• Pad Thai Sauce — toss through rice noodles with egg, prawns or tofu and a handful of beansprouts. Job done.
• Spicy Sriracha — squeeze over noodles, fried rice, eggs and anything from the grill.
• Original Ginger Chilli — dip, stir into rice or noodles, or spoon over grilled meat and fish.
• Pineapple, Chilli & Roasted Pepper — glaze it on chicken or fish, or add a splash of sunshine to a stir-fry.
