FROM LAOS WITH LOVE

For Hatsadee, known to everyone as Yoyo, moving from Laos to the UK meant leaving behind many things she held most dear. But what she missed the most was the vibrant, fresh flavours of home.

In Laos, food is more than just sustenance; it’s family - connection, and a daily celebration of the freshest ingredients and people, often found in bountiful supply at morning markets like Khua Din Market in Vientiane.

It’s all about the “JEOW”

These three ingredients form the soul of Laotian cooking, particularly essential in their sauces, known as 'Jeow'. Missing these authentic tastes in the UK, Yoyo began recreating the sauces she loved, sharing them with friends and family. The reaction was immediate and unexpected. Her homemade Jeow, bursting with the unique heat of ginger and chilli, became a local showstopper. The turning point came one evening when, sharing her sauce at a friend's house, Aaron* said:

That simple sentence planted a seed that would change everything. What started as a way to connect with home soon transformed into our mission: to put Laotian cuisine well and truly on the map - transporting new world flavours, from our home to yours.

And today, YoYo Laos Sauce is that mission bottled. Homage to Yoyo's roots, a celebration of Laos and a delicious introduction to a cuisine the world is only just discovering. Every award-winning drop is crafted with that same passion for freshness and flavour, designed to elevate any dish.
